These beautiful Button Knot Reins are hand spliced for superior strength and a smooth finish.

Made from 10mm Tuff Tack rope with a beautiful contrasting button knot for easy fastening with no need for a rein clip.

Lighter than the 12 or 14mm rope reins to enable good chinstrap release, but still feel great.

The flat loop ends have internal hand stitching, while the tail end is back spliced for extra weight and a neat finish complete with leather popper.

Great for trail riding, western or cow working disciplines.

Thank you for providing these reins. I don’t want any metal on my bridle and slobber straps are not suitable. These reins are perfect. Highly recommended for bitless bridles.

I love these reins. Attached with a simple knot they are so light around my horse's mouth that he really listens to my hands. But that's not all, when he is hesitant about being the lead horse, the rein is long enough to flip from side to side and works as a polite riding crop- I flick my own shoulders with the leather end and Othello responds by moving forward. I would call them 'gentle language reins'!
