Radius Rasp 1

The Radius Rasp-1 is a hoof wall smoothing tool with a razor-sharp perforated stainless steel blade.
Use it to keep the wall well-rounded to prevent cracks and keep hoof boots fitting.

The RR-1 is an excellent finishing tool for the Mustang Roll on barefoot horses and maintaining it between full trims.

The curved blade shaves the hoof wall to create a very smooth surface and is easily replaced.

It can be used in both one and two-hand grips, pushing and pulling. A great tool for your regular grooming kit.

"I absolutely love the Radius Rasp! It is exactly what I needed to do touch-ups between trims and smooth out little chips or cracks. The rasp has barely any weight, is comfortable to hold, and is so much easier to handle than my very good, but long and heavy rasp.
For my purpose, it was the right choice over the Radius Rasp-2, as I am only removing small amounts of hoof and am looking for a smoother finish. 

I watched the videos that explain the use of the rasp (along with your other tools), and while it is sharp, I didn’t find that it was hard to move, as I was following the tip to only apply very little pressure. I am extremely happy with my purchase and have already recommended it to others at the barn! Thank you so much for developing these exceptional tools!"
