• Top quality rope, leather, beta biothane or cotton to match your LightRider Bitless Bridle
• They include detachable rein clips - scissor clips give the most versatility of use.
• Easy Un-clipping allows leading/ground work, or remove them easily for tying up with a lead rope, as reins are not suitable for tying a horse.
• The clips are lightweight so there is breaking point in the rein. If a horse steps on the rein its better to break a clip than the bridle or your horse! 
• Designed to be light enough for good release (< 300g) to allow correct release on the bitless bridle/noseband chinstrap.
• Easy to remove or replace the clips with looped (on rope reins) or buckled ends.   

LightRider Rope Reins

These 10mm marine grade polyester rope reins are made from top quality soft, flexible rope that feels lovely to hold. They give a fast rein 'release' (slide) to reward your horse quickly. 

They come with solid brass or stainless steel swivel rein clips to match the bridle hardware, and the rope reins are one piece for leading in the bridle (not suited for tying solid unless clips are removed) and doing groundwork before riding.

Available in 4 sizes: Mini/Sml Pony (2m), Pony/Cob (2.6m/100"), Full (3m/118") and W'Blood/Draft (3.6m/142") in black, brown and  brown/gold zig zag or  black/gold zig zag to match the bridles. 

NEW! LightRider Split Rope Reins now available.  Made from 10mm Tuff Tack rope with our trademark looped ends for easy clip replacement. The flat loop has internal hand stitching and is spliced for superior strength, while the tail end is back spliced for extra weight and a neat finish complete with leather popper.  Each rein is 2.15m (7feet) long and comes with solid brass or Stainless Steel rein clips. LightRider Beta Biothane reins match the Beta Biothane bridles in 5/8" biothane  They are softer than leather and easy to clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

LightRider Leather Reins match the leather bridles in 5/8" drum dyed leather for those who love the traditional leather look and feel.

LightRider Cotton Reins - for those who like a softer thicker flat rein. These quality stitched & woven cotton reins are 3cm - 1 1/4" wide. Very comfy to hold.
